Progress Claim Assessments

VG Consulting provides post-contract delivery Quantity Surveying Services. Typically including monthly Progress Claim Assessments, Variation Assessments, Cost Reports, Cost Advice as required. VG Consulting is involved in the following Post-Contract projects:

  • ACP Cladding Replacement – Performing Arts Centre, Chatswood Concourse
  • New Build Multi-Storey car Park – Rowe High Street, Eastwood
  • Façade Painting – Six Storey George Street Building, Sydney CBD
  • 20 Dwelling Residential Development – Wallsend
  • Luxury Residence –  Sydney value $2M to $7M

Progress Claim Assessments include visiting site with the Contractor and the Client’s representative to agree the progress of the works claimed. Our Assessments include a Payment Schedule to incorporate any cost adjustments made and complies with the requirements of Building and Construction Industry Security of Payments Act 1999.

Contractor’s variations are issued to us for review and assessment. Our variations assessments are completed in a timely manner, to avoid any delays to project works. Our assessments review the claimed amounts and any adjustments to quantities or rates are clearly shown. Notes are included stating the basis of our adjustments and if any further information is required from the contractor. Our variation assessment format is endorsed by various Sydney Councils that like the audit style approach and the ability to issue back to the Contractor for agreement or provide further supporting information to finalise the variation.
